1. ENROLLMENT & PAYMENT
1.1 Acceptance of this enrolment is at the discretion of On Track Events & Coasters Musical Theatre.
1.2 Payment must be received in full before the start of the programme you have enrolled for.
1.3 To avoid disappointment by missing out on a place, as there are a limited number of spaces, bookings and full payment, ahead of the programme is essential. On Track Events & Coasters Musical Theatre is unable to confirm places on courses until an enrolment form and full payment has been received.
1.4 I understand that my child must be between 8 & 13 years old at the time of the programme start date.
1.5 Payment is via stripe on our website or bank transfer upon invoice with your child/ren’s names as the reference.
1.6 There is no discount, credit or refund for missed days.
1.7 If a child cannot attend at the last minute due to illness or family bereavement we are unfortunately unable to refund the full amount. A refund of 50% of the show in a week fee will apply.
2. CONTACT DETAILS
2.1 It is the responsibility of the person enrolling the student, that we have your current contact details. Please ensure that the correct details are included in your enrolment, and if they change post-enrolment please let our team know.
2.2 Please ensure that any medical, behavioural or physical conditions of the student have been notified with the enrolment.
3.0 HEALTH, SAFETY, INJURY AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
3.1 We take all practicable steps to ensure the safety of employees, contractors, tutors and students to provide a safe learning environment. Note however, that dance, body work and physical exertion carries a risk of injury or accidents. Heart of Kapiti Ltd and Coasters Musical Theatre are not liable for personal injuries sustained.
3.2 Heart of Kapiti Ltd and Coasters Musical Theatre are not liable for any loss or damage to personal property while students are at our classes.
3.3 It is the student’s parents/guardian’s responsibility to notify Heart of Kapiti Ltd and/or Coasters Musical Theatre of any medical, behavioural or physical conditions of the student prior to the start of the classes.
3.4 A first aid kit is available with the tutor. We cannot administer students’ medication, food or water.
3.5 Students are under the supervision of Heart of Kapiti Ltd and Coasters Musical Theatre tutors and staff while in class time only. Heart of Kapiti Ltd and Coasters Musical Theatre tutors and staff cannot be responsible for supervision of students outside the programme times.
3.6 I understand that I am required to organise my child’s food (lunch and snacks) throughout the week. This is not included in the fee.
4.1 There is no audition needed to be part of the course. Auditions will be held for those who are keen to have a featured role in the performance.
4.2 During the week my child will be free of other commitments so is able to attend all rehearsals and performances.
Organisers reserve the right to change the venue of the course and/or shows. Any changes will be communicated at least 5 working days prior to commencement of the course.
We work hard to provide quality classes with excellent tutors and staff. However, if you have a complaint or concern regarding our classes please raise it with our Manager as soon as possible.
7. PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
7.1 From time to time photos and video footage of our shows, classes and events will be shared online and in media showcasing our students and programmes. Parental consent for use of your child’s likeness is assumed for all students who have been enrolled. Care is always taken to ensure all imagery is in keeping with our values of inclusiveness, creativity and accessibility. If you are uncomfortable with this, please speak with Heart of Kapiti Ltd.
7.2 Heart of Kapiti Ltd and Coasters Musical Theatre is permitted to film or photograph students in classes and use that imagery for our internal purposes (for example training or development of our programmes).
8. PRIVACY ACT 2020
Heart of Kapiti Ltd and Coasters Musical Theatre collect personal information about students (and parents/guardians of students under 18 years old) when you enrol in our classes. All information is held at our office. Under the Privacy Act 1993 you are entitled to have access to and request correction of this information.
9. CANCELLATION POLICY
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a class or workshop. If we need to cancel a class or workshop for whatever reason, you will be entitled to a full refund of the fees paid. Heart of Kapiti Ltd and/or Coasters Musical Theatre also reserves the right to terminate or cancel this enrolment and remove a child from the class or workshop, if at any time it believes that any child, or parent or guardian of that child, behaves in a manner that, in its sole discretion, Heart of Kapiti Ltd and/or Coasters Musical Theatre believes is inappropriate, disruptive or intimidating in any manner.
